This is my first year at KU and I'm not impressed at all. First off, the city itself is boring and there's absolutely nothing to do unless you drive about 45 minutes to the nearest city (if you don't have a car, you're pretty much fucked). The only thing good about Lawrence is the fact that there's so much food to eat so you'll probably be gaining weight since, again, there's nothing else to do. Kansas is a communist city with Lawrence being a small liberal dot. A lot of the kids are racist but try to cover it up by saying "it was just a joke". Everything is so clicky, especially the sororities and frats.

I'm a Pharmacy major and my advisor knew NOTHING about my major. She always had to ask or look something up when I had a question. She was nice and tried her best but it got frustrating after a while.

The athletes are idolized here and the rest of the student body is basically a second thought. They can get into bar fights or go to jail and have no consequence while everyone else would get some type of consequence and even expulsion.

I'm transferring after this year. DO NOT COME HERE. I REPEAT, KU IS GOOD AT SPORTS BUT A TERRIBLE PLACE TO GET YOUR EDUCATION
