Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I graduated from PC. I have gone on to completely two masters degrees at a large university so I now have some perspective about how completely f***ed up PC really was. There is no diversity whatsoever. Clinton is impoverished and PC is full of rich private school kids who don't do much to help the surrounding area. This always bothered me as a student. This school is not friendly towards its athletes who work hard day after day exhausting themselves and then taking on the same course load as non athletes. The administration and advisors are horrible and do not act in the students' best interest. My dorm room ceiling was basically caving in above me and it took several tries to get it fixed. I am highly allergic to cats and one year there were numerous stray cats living below my floor in the crawl space and campus administrators did nothing to resolve the problem after several requests. There was also a mold issue. The food is terrible. The only good thing I have to say is about the Political Science dept-all the professors were amazing. They are knowledgeable, challenging, and seem to actually care about their students. However I would not recommend this school to anyone. It's a weird, backwards, shut off place that ses more like high school than college.
