I spent 5 years there to get a Bachelors degree in fine arts. After freshman year you are nothing but a number. You are only valuable to them as a number to raise student population. The campus is beautiful. But its utterly useless. You are charged for things that are built that you had no clue was even being built and there is no way of opting out. The students are lured into a false sense of security. Since I went there were 3 suicides and a policeman shot an unarmed student. The city is like limbo. There are actually no opportunities or jobs for the fields in which many students study. The only flourishing subject is nursing. I went in fine artist and they basically left us to be starving artist. We learned nothing of any use in the modern artistic work including any programs used in the modern artistic workforce.Didn't realize that the education was such a sham until the very end when I was close to graduating when out professor gave us the " you won't make a ton of money, but you will get self fulfillment" speech. Left everyone In fine arts senior class appalled. Not a good school. Wasn't worth the debt I'm in to have attended. I felt as if I just wasted 5 years of my life. Stay away. don't even consider it. Its a trap.
