Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
Let me start by saying that if I had the chance to go to a different school for nursing I would have. If you live in Indiana, then you have surely been told how amazing IU nursing school is. That is a lie. The professors read straight from the screen and do not incorporate other methods for learning. They do not like to be challenged or admit that they are wrong. We have had students pull information directly from the required readings and the professors state "well, that isn't right because that is not what I said." The school board refuses to listen to the voices of the students who have concerns about our education and how we are treated by the staff. The board also gets into the student blocking sheets (how we make or class) and kick you out of your classes WITHOUT your knowledge or approval. Students have been grabbed and yelled at during clinical and been mocked by staff via e-mail. This is a HORRIBLE school and now has the lowest rate of incoming students that it ever has. I strongly suggest you take your money and your time somewhere else.
