Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
Going for Associates of Biology but was originally just General Studies. My adviser however was Michael Gage, an adviser for CRIMINAL JUSTICE, and had never spoken to me. For the first two semesters after changing from a GS to a AS (2 years) I had been going off of the websites "Degree Check!" which shows you what you need. Of course going to "advisers" in the Science Department. My first encounter with one of these advisers was the (at the time) head of the science department. She was very arrogant to say the least. I had set an appointment with her to talk about my next semester and what I needed to take and as soon as I got there she simply told me that she's going to set an appointment with another "adviser" to talk to me. The next person I had gone to was clueless. Agreeing that all my classes were correct. Two semesters before graduating I am on Probation for financial aid for not taking the right classes. After getting the run around for a year and a half I have an adviser that is actually doing their job!
