McSpedon Hall, at Iona College, is maintained, like some other buildings, but check out The Rudin Center - Keyboards are missing, computers are out of order, keyboads are not cleaned; you don't want to type on them. I've stopped by the Center, in need of help, a few times, and no one greeted me, no one seemed to care, so I left to see if I could find my Professors and ask them for help. Everytime you go to an office, there are always new staff so no one really is trained to answer your questions. Why is there such a high employee turnover at Iona? It seems like many staff members are over worked and underpaid and arejust not happy.I met some nice caring people at Iona, mostly the food servers, security guards, and Maintenance crew; the Administrators remove themselves from students. It appears they can't be bothered meeting the needs of students; the administrstors just care about the MONEY. So far, has Iona been worth the money and the debt I am in?ANS: Absolutely Not. I'm transferring out. I'm not happy with the advisement or tutoring services, and I'm also not happy so much money goes to Basketball, and I love sports, but Iona BB won't help me get a job or help me pay off my college loans. I'm transferring because I don't think Iona is worth the money. I can enroll in a different college, for 1/2 the tuition and fees, with more major program offerings and certification programs. Iona is like a bigger high school; and way too expensive. Iona spotlights a few graduates on their webpage, but what about all the graduates who are not spotlighted and struggling to pay their loans, and still looking for a job? Iona just wasn't a good return on my investment, but that's my opinion.
