Thanks for the review. Im applying now and am trying to research everything about the program |
Major: Social Work (This Major's Salary over time)
I entered into this program as someone who has been out of college for over 13 years. I am participating in the online program because of the flexibility it offers, in addition to the quality education. When I first started in the program, I wondered how it was that some of the students were going to be successful if they couldn't even speak or write well. As the program has continued, those students have been weeded out. I have had no issues with turning in assignments on time, or doing the work that is required. You get out of the online program what you put in. If you read the texts, do the online material, and participate in class you will do well - and you WILL learn. I have definitely been able to apply what I have been learning in my clinical internship. There have been some teachers that have caused me to roll my eyes, but I still learned something. For my undergrad I attended a well respected brick and mortar and had obnoxious teachers - that's life. Again, you will get out of this what you put in. The online school requires a student that is willing to work hard, keep track of their assignments, speak up when they don't understand and be invested.
