Seattleu is a totally fine school if you want to attend and there's nothing wrong with that, however as I have encountered there are no legitimate reasons to attend this school. You will be in a situation where someone will ask why su and there just seems to be no legitimate answer. Many point to small classes but let's be real, would you pay 50k for small classes and besides there are other schools with small classes for less. It's because in the back of everyone's mind they ask why not a better school like university of Washington since it's cheaper and better and in Seattle. Small classes isn't worth 20k more and no prestige because no one will know the school. However the food is great with the sushi bar, Seattle itself, campus facilities are nice, and I had a few great professors. But for the most part in my department at least, professors didn't care, no opportunities and they wouldn't give the time of day for you (not all though) because there are some great professors there. But it's just an ok school for specific kind of people, few hot girls mostly nerdy type, Seattle is nice though I like the nature and all the outdoor activities it offers. However if you are looking for a traditional college experience you will not find it there because no fraternities or sororities and no good parties around, you'd usually head over to university of Washington for that. Oh yeah not seeing the sun for 6 months is brutal, but if you like the su vibe then by all means it's not a bad school, I'd just spend the best four years of my life and money elsewhere (I myself have already left for quite some time).
