Going into my senior year I'd say LHU has a mixture of good and bad. First off, you get what you pay for and LHU is literally the best example of this saying. You either go to LHU because its one of the cheapest State schools to go to in PA or you went here because you didnt do so well in high-school and LHU pretty much accepts anyone with a low SAT score. This mixture of people brings a unique quality to LHU in the sense that your dealing with a lot of people who are trying to save money and also a lot of people who probably shouldn't be in college(Dont worry a lot of them drop out after 2 years or transfer). There are a lot of bright and smart people at LHU. LHU has a great science and PA program. This is another selling point of LHU if your thinking of coming here for a science degree and not being that much in debt, then LHU is for you.LHU is what you make of it, I read through all the reviews and will agree there isnt too much to do in terms of local attractions around town. We are in between two large towns/cities(Williamsport & State College), so it isnt too bad if you use your resources. A lot of people who transfer out of here or complain about the social life here seem to have not have been involved on campus. Either join a sports team, a club, or Greek life if you really want to make the best of your college social life. Honestly if you just get involved you will not be bored here. For partying, its really good the first half of fall semester, but starts to slow down right before midterms. Partying here can get pretty crazy, but only fraternities and sports teams throw the largest parties. If you know enough people you will always have something to do and have at-least one party to go to each weekend. My advice to anyone looking to go this University is if your trying to save $ come here, but dont expect something like Penn State. LHU is not perfect, but if you adapt and make best of your situation you can have the best time of your life here.
