I transferred to Regent to pursue a Bachelor's degree online. I do not suggest their online school to anyone, it is hard to navigate and confusing due to the lay out and the fact that every class has different deadlines. The day the course ended was even confusing. I had problems from day one, including issues with general enrollment and email accessibility. Instructors do not interact with students enough through the announcement tool. The Google based email is ineffective because you actually have to log in to daily to see notifications and not logging in one day can be the difference between passing and failing. The admin department is also extremely sluggish.

Also, the classes are not updated and there are duplicate assignments that do not apply the gradebook. Expectations for major assignments are not well defined and I found myself free winging major papers in hopes I understood correctly. It?s difficult enough not being in a classroom and having access to a professor.

The school is extremely closed minded and your grade will be marked down if you are not a religious robot. It's supposedly a non-denominational school but that is clearly a lie. My tolerance of the Gay community was not accepted in a forum and was criticized by the instructor. Yes the bible is against it but I will not show contempt for the LGBT community. I felt like I was being brainwashed and it was uncomfortable. Maybe I should have expected that but like I said, Regent advertises itself as Non-denominational.

I do not like being negative but I want to warn anyone thinking of attending Regent's online classes be prepared for sub-par support and a poor quality experience. Basically, this was the worst online college I have ever attended. I just finished my first and LAST term at Regent's online school.
