Choosing to come to the University of south Carolina is easily the biggest mistake of my life. People here are so dumb and close minded and the course work is so easy I don't know why I'm paying 40,000 dollar to come here. People here are clones of each other every stupid sorority girl dresses the same, act the same, and are so intolerable I actually loose brain cells being around them. But really, I don't know who are worse the stupid sorority girls or the arrogant self centered frat boys that patrol the school. If you have any desire to do anything besides get drunk at shitty bars in five points there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do. I mean literally nothing. No one goes to any events besides football games and everyone is so trashed they usually can't even remember who won. The faculty and staff have no clue what they are doing and most are grad students until you get to junior year. The advisement told me to take two of the wrong classes and I ended up having to retake them over the summer because there was no guidance. If you have any sort of brain in your head do not come here.

responseThe most ironic part about this entire review is how close minded the review is in itself. As a member of Greek life I can think of a thousand and one things I've had the pleasure of experiencing at this school outside of drinking and watching football. (Drinking and watching football are a favorite of mine, though.) This school is a melting pot of 25,000 kids with all different backgrounds and interests. I love it. I'm so glad you chose to portray Greek life in a negative light. So original. Some of the greatest people I've met are in fraternities and sororities. I've met a lot of them while out in five points, actually. Maybe my outlook on life is just too positive. Maybe I have better things to do than sit here and whine on and on about my school. I thank God for the opportunity he's given me here. I'm sorry you're so sad at this place. Get out and meet people. Shake a hand. Smile.
responseYou choose to portray everyone as dumb and stupid, but you're the one with the run on sentence. That sort of grammar should have been mastered in, say, middle school. You didn't properly capitalize South Carolina or Five Points as they are proper name. You also "loose" brain cells instead of lose them. Maybe your brain cells are just too loose for such a great place to receive a quality education!

I went there and had the best experience of my life. I made life-long friends and really enjoyed Gamecock football! I was not Greek but have many, many friends who were/are. They are wonderful, humble individuals who possess impeccable character and class. If you're insecure and need more people that look like you, then maybe this diverse, cultured, exciting, and top-notch place to receive an education is not for you.
