In BC, everyone goes to SFU if they have been rejected by UBC. The admission averages near the May and June are so low that its almost a joke. I've heard of people getting into the school with 78 and 79 without any supplementary activities (volunteer, awards etc.). This school is just a step away from being a college. Also, this school is ranked lowest in the province and the quality of the school reflects this as well. The buildings are ugly, the strikes the school has with its unions are very annoying as well. The grading scheme is unreasonable and many of the professors act as if they do not care about you at all. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A SOME WHAT GOOD UNIVERSITY EXPERIENCE!!
