Date: Oct 14 2015 Major: Unknown (This Major's Salary over time) I agree 1 million percent. Iona College is not worth the investment. You can take all the core classes at a community college and save your parents and yourself so much money. The people at Iona don't care. The President was developing his Strategic Plan when I was a Freshman at Iona, but nothing changed. Everything at Iona is status quo. The top Administrators make all the money and the students pay. What was also sad was many great staff and administrators jumped ship. Staff that cared. I would go to an office and learn another staff member left - the turnover is so high.Yes, the Career Center at Iona is understaffed, and the companies that attend the job fairs are pretty much zip and none. You get no detailed help at Career Services or the Academic Support Center. Iona College is run like a haphazard business and the rankings prove that in Money Magazine. I met nice friends and good people at Iona, but the Top Administrators don't care and the school is going down hill.I wish, when I was a student, I spoke up and addressed the problems and downward spiral at Iona. Many students were expressing the same concerns, but we should have spoken out more.
