Date: Dec 02 2015 Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time) Do not go into debt to attend the University of Northwestern. Don't assume it will help you with your spiritual growth to go to this or any Christian college. How close you are to the Lord is up to you. Don't expect people here to act like Christians ought to. I attended Northwestern in the mid 80's. What brought me here was a conversation I had with a young woman who graduated from NW in the mid 2000's. She told me if she had to do it all over again she would not go to Northwestern. I realized that over the decades I have spoken to dozens of people that attended NW from the 1970's to the 2000's. All that lived on campus said they would not attend Northwestern if they had to do it all over again. (One guy who attended in his 40's and didn't live on campus thought it as ok). If I had to do it over I wouldn't do it again. I wound up successful - but not because of NW. The complaints I heard over the decades are the same as mine. Hypocrisy, unfriendly students, arrogant professors and coaches, too expensive, you can't confide with students or faculty without having that confidence broken, not a great education, not preparing you the world. To see the majority of the people that comment on this site just confirm it. Wish someone had warned me. I should have took the hint when the homecoming game was so poorly attended.
