If you're look for a well rounded college experience with an open minded social atmosphere USD isn't the place for you. My friends and I came here under the impression that there would be an abundance of awesome people and to just get a traditional college experience. We were so wrong! USD is one of the cliquiest colleges I have ever seen. The first week of school everyone is very nice and friendly but HURRY if you don't find a clique to be in you will soon be an outcast. Its not like there are a bunch of amazing people here. Most of them are just rich California kids with sub par social skills. If you're not talking about getting fucked up or what outfit someone has its very bland. This school's greek life is ok but its very classist and segregated. The "popular" greek fraternities frown and look down upon those of us who are "unworthy" its pretty chill though, there are some amazing people here but for the most part it's just like High School part 2. Once people set into their cliques they're not really willing to go outside to meet new people. If you want my advice go to UCLA or USC. Even SDSU, its a richer and more well rounded of a college experience. Don't make the same mistake as me and my friends did, and good luck with your decision!! (don't come here if you're a down to earth person)
