My initial impression from the time I was applying for admission into Hallmark was not questionable from the beginning. I was a transfer student from a real "accredited" university and I was getting the run around on what credits would transfer over or not. I reached a point where I was turned off and made an attempt to walk away. The advisor brought someone else in and she provided me with a education plan and highlighted the classes I would get credit for. I went along and completed enrollment. On a prior to starting the term we met with the school's president and drank some of the Hallmark's cool aid and promise their number one priority was the students. After 6 months of going through the program, I became disillusioned as I was able to conclude their number one priority if to satisfy their enrollment of students from one week to the next. I experience several issues with the registrar's office placing me in the wrong classes and when I attempted to reach out to the instructor's, I got no response. I elevated the issue with the Program's Dean with no success. I was pretty much told the predicament I was placed into by the registrar's office had been addressed and that it would not happen again. My last term there proved to be very challenging as the class I was place in was a level 6 class and they had skipped me from taking the first 5 prerequisite classes. I manage to complete and pass the class, but they made the same error again for an upcoming term…even when the Dean of the program had promised me it would not happen again. It became obvious the school did not have my best interest in mind and they really didn't care if I managed to pass or not…they would still get paid regardless. I elected to drop the program/school and go back to the path I was on with another local, legitimate, university.
