Major: Electrical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
College of engineering does not provide funding nor grant help, they fill out final forms after you write the grant and keep 42% of any award to cover building / lab and facilities expenses but provide no office or lab space to students. Graduate students have no resource center or place to find support. Equipment brought in on private grants with faculty and students is generally confiscated to give to under grad programs. Assistant ships are limited to 1970s wages, less than $1200 per month for PhD. TA , RA, and GA are given to new students and masters first to keep numbers up then once your 50% complete they drop you so graduation rates are low. Rumor is the deans are incentivised to get new students up but not ready to graduate MSc and PhD so they fund new recruits with BS to PhD program by offering recent under grads full funding while telling existing students there is no money, then when you show up your previous space has 19 year olds in it. They will be dropped after 3 semesters or bonuses wont be paid to deans..
