In the short time I've been at Messiah, my hesitation to go here was satisfied. Like many other students I know, I choose Messiah because they gave me the most Scholarship money than any other school I applied to. But, it's not worth the judgmental glances and arrogant christian rich kids. The main reason I didn't want to go to Messiah was because I live in the area and I had a feeling I'd be reliving my high school experience, which is exactly how it felt. Unless you're coming to school with a group of friends already intact, you'll feel like an outsider. By the end of my first week here, cliques were very apparent and any attempt to make friends lessened.

There's nothing to do here unless you're an athlete or involved in the arts. If you're interested in night life you will be thoroughly disappointed by even the simple lack of the word "party" on campus. Many students venture off campus in overpacked cars and sometimes drive as far as 40 minutes to go to a club.

Also, if you're a student, especially a minority student, that wants to have a diverse campus, Messiah will leave you disappointed and uncomfortable at the number of sheltered and unaware people you are surrounded by who will constantly say offensive things to or about you.

In all, based on my experience so far I do not plan to stay here much longer and plan to transfer in the fall.
