Major: Religion/Religious (This Major's Salary over time)
After perusing a few of the given responses, I felt that it may be beneficial to offer my own thoughts in regard to the academic rigor. In my experience, I found the course work to be more than sufficient in its rigor and applicability. After Luther Rice, I went on to graduate school to receive a Master of Arts in Philosophy from a private, regionally accredited Catholic college. I was also accepted to study philosophy (and pertinent religious topics) at one of the most prestigious seminaries in the Southeast. I am now preparing for coursework to pursue the Ph.d from a Catholic college within Barcelona, Spain. Of course, just as any other institution, I had a professor that was somewhat "apathetic" in regard to his enthusiasm - but this was, by far, the exception. Luther RIce has served my academic goals quite nicely. Put in the work, and the college will serve your purposes, as well. (I am currently teaching philosophy for a state college).
