UNLV MSW program is very disappointing. I would not recommend it. The few PhD level professors are good, but they seem to be a minority. Many under qualified, poorly prepared individuals teaching classes. The Dept is very poorly run, very disorganized, and has poor communication. Students are a number: not student-centered. The classes are easy but everything else is difficult, like getting the classes you need (availability of classes, availability of electives) and getting support. Students are on their own.
