No matter how much they say Trine is fun, its not. People go to bed early, there is no night life. During orientation they always say there is a ton of stuff to do, there isn't. Maybe a guest every 2 weeks, a movie once a month, unless your an athlete, your not taken seriously. Professors will help you if you ask, but arrogent if you struggle during the class itself. Mostly male campus, so if female, who plays no sports, you really only make friends if you join a sorority. The financial aid office sends you in circles if you try to get help with paying a bill. I was told I could only get $1000 in loans for a single school year, while others could get upwards of $50,000. If you're not apart of the Trine family, you're looked at as second class, not needed. Residence halls have no life, you'll find people quiet and studying, no events or fun after classes. They are also run down. The newer apartments get fridges and more accommodations while the older apartments get broken furniture and half-assed bunks. The only reason that Trine is so credible is because its a private, expensive school. If you're lucky enough to have enough money, and get good grades, you will go far. But if you have to work to get what you want, they will through you in the gutter.
