Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
I have two completely different views on two diffenerent topics- one is for my prerequisites:They were great! The advisors are not the most helpful, you have to stay on them and double check that they have you for the right degree(me and a classmate took extra classes unintentionally for that reason) but as far as teachers and studets and learnng it was all worth it, it's a small college in a rural area, very friendly and understanding teachers not hard to get into either. Then there's the nursing program:Total thumbs down, not recommendedHigh, high, high failure rateMust make 75% to passMy class had 70 students, now in second semester we have 13Teachers are not understanding- they are snooty, condescending, and do not want to help, no excuses are understandable- EVER- no funerals, sick days, you got stabbed? to bad no make upsThey will make up ONE test but they said it will be extrmemly hard and not on material they went overLook into this before going for this program- your chances of passing will be nearly double at another school The good thing is that bc of their high fail rate many places offer good job security as a nacc graduate but im sure you could easily find a job graduating with a nurse degree somewhere else
