Okay,so, this is an advice which I hope everyone heeds to. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, DO NOT AND I REPEAT! DO NOT COME TO THIS UNIVERSITY!!! As an education major I cannot begin to express my frustration. Kean University is known for its "Education program" I don't know how, honestly, because this is one of THE WORST PROGRAMS THERE IS and IFFF I had a chance I would transfer without giving it a thought.

Let me tell you how it goes… You decide to become a teacher, and go into it without a thought.. Kean will ruin it for you and not only that, the state itself will. You are required to pass these PRAXIS exams (writing, reading and math) BEFORE you can declare as an education major MEANING before you can take your education classes. Let me be honest about 1 thing, these exams are a waste of time and money. If you're not a math person, good luck passing and goodluck buying a book that actually covers what you have to study. All of them are unhelpful and don't even bother buying the ETS practice book from their website, the questions of the Praxis ARE NOTHING LIKE IT.It's a waste of money. Save your money, I know many people who have dropped from this program because they don't allow you to take more education classes, and literally I'M NOT EVEN KIDDING, if you can't pass this exam which 80% DON'T KEAN will advice you to take a semester off. It is ridiculous, I'd advice you to attend a different university and major in something else. It isn't worth the headache, it isn't.
