There are basically no "down sides" to Stanford. Great academics(?) - Got it! Great athletics(?) - Got it! Gorgeous campus (?) - Got it! Great faculty/staff (?) - Got it! If I HAD to pick a "negative" about the school, I'd say it's the surrounding town and atmosphere, as it is the "antithesis" of a "college town" .
