Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
The School of Nursing (SON) will appear polished. However, the faculty and staff WILL change the rubric and curriculum in the middle of the semester. The mistreatment and guidance is evident when the professors quit in the middle of the semester. The CNR faculty is NOT supportive. There is no guidance. When you have a concern they will ignore you for months and then send you on a wild goose chase. If it is an issue with the class or instructor they make sure you are stuck into the course before anything can be done. They are not organized. The SON is constantly holding up the Bursar's office with their mishaps and you (the student) will have to cover any late or penalty fees associated with their unprofessionalism. I had a $1,000 hold on my account after I paid my bill in full. They just forgot to tell me that SON added a technology fee in the middle of the semester with no notice. I would HEAVILY recommend another school. I would feel hurt if anyone was just as misinformed as my group. We entered CNR thinking it was amazing only to be disappointed. Please please please be careful. There is a reason you cannot see their stats of passing the NCLEX on their site. There is a reason their accreditation is not listed on their site. Please BEWARE! Pay attention to the awards and accomplishments the SON does not have. I was blinded by the lack of information. Be careful! I am a Second Degree student. I can clearly see the HUGE difference in the way an institution should be. BE CAREFUL!
