Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
I was very excited to go to Towson at first. The campus is gorgeous and the school seemed to be awesome, but when I started, all I encountered were issues. I am a transfer student from a great community college, and I found that comparably Towson is extremely disorganized and teachers seemed to lack enthusiasm or helpfulness that I was used to. I have encountered rude or unhelpful staff and advisers on more than a couple occasions, teachers that don't seem to care about anything but a paycheck, and the education (art and design) commonly lacked any room for creativity and growth as an individual. I am extremely dissapointed with the art department and recommend that if you are an art or design major that you don't have Towson as a first choice in schools.
