The academic advisors in the department of industrial and biomedical engineering are terrible. Brandi Banks is the biomedical engineering academic advisor and she is one of the most rude people I have ever met. People had warned me about her being rude before I met with her, but after having to meet with her a few times, I realize why they were trying to warn me. Her boss, Mrs. Cwiakala should be doing something to get her in line, but she's just as rude and as stupid as Brandi, so don't plan on getting any actual advising through the biomedical department at Wright State. Mrs. Cwiakala purposely tried to insult me by telling me maybe I should change my major. What kind of academic advisor gives advice like that? They're all a bunch of stuck up c****. I feel like I am the advisor when I am at a meeting with them. I have to suggest things like "well don't you think you should probably print that out for me?" Or "well can you call and make sure they're in their office before I walk all the way over there?" Or "so we should probably write that down huh?" It's absolutely ridiculous. Get a job you know how to do and stop wasting the student's time! We're actually trying, we're not there because we like wasting money idiot.

You are completely off base. Mrs. Cwiakala is NOT and has NEVER BEEN Ms. Banks boss. Maybe before you slam people you should get your facts straight.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. The people in the BME department are really helpful and know a lot. Sometimes you have to realize that you were given two ears and one mouth for a reason!
