This place is strange. The teachers don't seem to want to be here, or perhaps their expectations of higher learning match the students. There is a great sense of apathy and a lack of optimism about the future. The program director is rude, condescending, paranoid, and at times a pathological liar. He has the characteristics of a babysitter who broke a lamp mixed with a prison warden. The only time I see faculty or students here excited about anything it generally involves a goal far out of their reach and never really gets accomplished. The best way I can describe life at UCF is either people are obsessing with fantasy or unsatisfied with reality. 60,000 people that are completely oblivious to reality.
