Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time)
This school did most of what it planned to in the curriculum. But failed miserably when it came to one thing: post college job help. Seriously it was the worst when it came to the most crucial part of the entire process. The part I was most concerned about going into the school. They hired a bunch of 20 somethings to tell me yeah they have great job prospects and some people get jobs before graduation and the i ternships aee top notch. Yeah thats a load of bull. Internships are crap, they are slave labor and in the end you rarely get offered the job. So many of my classmates are NOT working in their field its insane. Many have moved on. If you dont believe me fine, but take a look for yourself. I have seen many classmates either drop out of this school or never even get anywhere near a radio station. So seriously if you want to get into this business first thing you need is a good demo, and then get in the door somehow. On the job training will beat out any college you goto. And make it major market if you can, so many jobs state major market experience. And whatever you do dont take columbia, you can blow 60 grand just going here and never see a single day in your field of study. I myself have been in radio 10 years and only got paid for 6 months of it. Thats it. Take my advice find another profession and dont bother with radio and if you do take radio do whatever you can to get jobs outside of it to pay bills.
