I have been at K-State or in the Manhattan area since 1992. Manhattan is a great place to live and what it lacks in some amenities the city makes up for by being open and friendly. The nightlife is great for college student. The campus itself is beautiful and historic. Some buildings are better than others maintenance-wise, but the university is making a concerted effort to update buildings as time/money allows. Faculty are very approachable and the student life professionals on the campus are second to none. No matter what your problem is, they will work tirelessly to get it resolved.
