Honestly, I am a freshman and I do not regret going here. I am somewhat biased since I got a very nice scholarships and am doing particularly well so far, but there really isn't much to not enjoy. A lot of people will complain about the social life or gender ratio, but these are really just ways of people to express their frustration with themselves at not leaving their rooms. Is that their fault? Yes, completely. RPI has a very active campus, especially if you join Greek Life. While there are good and bad frats, Greek Life is not like at other schools in that there will be very smart brothers that have fun on the weekends and study hard during the week. I wouldn't want to go to any other school. The professors have been really amazing too, great quality of education comparable to an Ivy League school. Google doesn't hold career workshops at just any college, nor does every other Fortune 500 company that hires here.
