FIU is a Joke!!! The faculty doesn't help the students at all. You are on your own and against all the odds. Please choose a different school if you want to keep your sanity. Classes are expensive and not really what people think (Super cheap!), the school faculty is very disorganized, disrespectful, and abusive with the assignments/ exams. There is not quality education at FIU. Many students survive by cheating and sharing information form previous semesters. They assigned unrealistic workload of papers, which they barely read and grade based on their subjective bias opinions and not factual information. Professors don't teach and cancel classes constantly. I was a 4.0 GPA student when I enter this school and I have managed to keep my GPA within a decent grade, but I am seriously considering in switching programs because my sanity and health are more important than a degree. BTW, if you think it is just me… think again… The professors take great satisfaction in failing students and encourage them to drop the classes. Of course thats how the school really make the big bucks, by having the students repeat the classes and pay more money. Please I am calling to your consciousness and evaluate your oder options. I hope my message reach as many of you as possible.
