Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
As an International Student and Sequential Art MA alumni, my advice is DON'T GO TO THE ATLANTA CAMPUS. The faculty is 6 professors that even though they are professionals on the field, they are not meant for teaching. I was expecting to have Master classes, but because there weren't many students, they combined the Undergrads with the grads. So, what kind of reviews or advice can you get from people that is just studying their Bachelors? 2 professors are jerks (Shawn Crystal & Chris Staros), yelling the students, telling us that this is a hard field so you better wake up. You can hear them say things like "Editors are going to be mean to you, so you better do what they say" With the excuse of "This is the reality" or "I'm just pushing you, so you get better at what you do". 2 others are completely clueless (June Brigman & Jackie Lewis) they don't know what they are talking about, giving really bad advice, or not advice at all. The only professors I could recommend you are Doug Dabbs and Pat Quinn, although they are busy all the time.Sequential Art in the Atlanta campus is a SCAM. I heard that is better in the Savannah Campus. The art is not good. There are Graduates that don't even know how to draw, or even use photoshop ever in their life!! They just grab anybody that wants a MA degree. The worse thing, is that they feel proud on the students visit showing of their tables representing a comic-con…Dont get me wrong, I like comic-cons, but is like like, REALLY? IS THAT A MASTERS DEGREE????
