This school is a daycare for wealthy students who could not get in at any other NESCAC, Ivy, or anywhere more prestigious. This is the quintessential "Trap School." Once the faux-prestige and the few pretty buildings lose their luster, you realize that there was very little in the way of substance here.

This school is a diploma mill that will push any moronic student through like a bad bowel movement. There is no intellectual rigor here, and no genuine effort to assist a student track a career, secure an internship, or get a full time job upon graduation.

Most of the student body pays full tuition because the school can't get the money to stay afloat any other way. There is really very little in the way of donations and alumni support, because students realize immediately after graduation that the school does not care about them as an alum and did not care about them as students.

It is actually more challenging to get a job out of Trinity than from a school like UCONN or CCSU unless daddy hooks you up. Zero firms recruit from Trinity College (none from Hartford), except for the random start-up firms that show up once or twice in the spring looking for desperate kids willing to move to NYC for a generous salary of 40K a year to live like slaves.

There is really no upside to this college except for the amazing party atmosphere that seems to capture naive kids in a downward spiral that leads to them limping to the finish line, happy that they could manage to graduate with a pathetic BA in Political Science or something else useless.

At Trinity College, the goal is not to set yourself up for a bright future and a good career, it is to pretend you're having an awesome time for four years with fair-weather friends that you only share a drug addiction and alcoholism with.

This place place is hardly a school, and most community colleges have stricter requirements and higher academic standard.
