I read the review about fees, and didn't believe it. So I went to look through their website and here's what I found; it really looks like this school runs as a modern day greedy business versus an institution for the students. I was actually a little surprised at the list of fees I found on their website, as well as some interesting info that makes them really look like they are a business versus student focused. The following list is all copied and pasted directly from CVTC.edu:Application Processing Fee$30.00Health Services Fee $7.00-$19.00Activity Fee5.5% of per-credit tuition rateOn-line Course Fees $10.00/credit with $10.00 as the minimumPublic Safety Fee (starting 2016 Fall term)$3.00 per credit with a maximum of $45.001.Enroll for $25 per plan. No down payment required.2.Pay online using debit card, credit card (MasterCard or Visa) or bank account.3.Enrollment fee charged or withdrawn within two business days. Payments may be withdrawn from bank accounts up to two business days AFTER the payment withdrawal date. A late fee of $30 is applied to any missed payments. Students are responsible for paying any monies owed to CVTC.
A $100 non-refundable late fee is assessed if the account is not paid in full or a payment option is not completed after the start of the semester.
CVTC will attach a $30.00 fee to any Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) paper or electronic check returned from your bank because of insufficient funds, closed account status, or incorrect account number.
CVTC utilizes two services to collect past due accounts: ? Accounts may be turned over to the Wisconsin Department of Revenue Taxpayer Refund Intercept Program (TRIP) ? Accounts may be turned over to a commercial collection agency. Active collection efforts by an agency can have a negative effects on personal credit ratings. Additional costs may be accessed by the collection agency.
