I wrote a very very long review at another college website forum but suffice it to say, I will be brief here in saying that it's been over 25 years since I graduated and I see that some of my old professors are still teaching at QCC so I think it still applies for me to say that I got a high quality education from this school. After graduating with a degree of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology. The rigor of the classes were hard enough to challenge me for 2 and a half years and after having graduated, I continued to City College for an engineers degree.

Here's where it gets interesting. For my first few years at City College now studying for engineering I found that I already had a level of knowledge that other students were having a hard time. It should be said that I'm an average student with C+ or B- grades. The point is that the way the two schools teach was vastly different. QCC made it clear to understand and the professors explained well, and knew their stuff. City College basically taught engineering as required. A good example of this was one professor I had; Robert Boylestad. And excellent teacher that really cared that you didn't leave the class without fully knowing what you needed to know. Nashelsky, Emmanuel, etc… There were many professors that were a rare breed- REAL TEACHERS.
