For pre-med or pre-dental students, I would recommend a bigger name school for undergrad. Grades are important no matter where you go, but a recognizable school with a good reputation would have made my life a lot easier getting into professional school. After graduation and after Oakland has taken all of your tuition money, they provide no help to you. I was unable to enter the library while studying for my DAT because I was not a current student - this was a couple months after graduation, in October, not during a busy exam period. For students interested in medicine or dentistry, I would highly recommend another university. If you don't end up getting into med or dent school, you might have a hard time finding a good job with your bio or health science degree from OU.
