I really liked FGCU! It was a much, much better experience than FSU. FGCU has a pleasant atmosphere, a relatively nice staff, and is nicely sized. The only reason I had to transfer, was that they did not offer what I wanted to study: Linguistics or Cognitive Science. But this is to be expected, given that it is a small university. Given the choice between FGCU and FSU, I would pick FGCU a thousand times over. I didn't have to fear for my life at FGCU.
