Ahh "Camp Trin."

This school is easily the least-respected among the NESCAC schools, even compared to CONN College if you could imagine that.

Although it was the second-most expensive school in the country when I was a freshman, it probably has fewer resources than the average community college.

All that tuition money must evaporate into some sort of magical mystery money cloud, or perhaps line the pockets of people like the token black female president who can't be bothered do anything other than suck up to affluent white donors who like to take pictures with her for insta.

I cannot name one thing she brings to the table other than her racial ante to pony up at the diversity table. She also finds the need to hire a diversity czar in every department to darken the place up and sneek in minorities who couldn't get into the better colleges. Black kids from across the street at the charter school get into Trin with anemic 1500's on the SAT.

The club sports and activities here have zero funding and they are dedicated exclusively to heavy drinking.

The investment club never traded a stock in the three years I was a member there. The sailing team doesn't actually compete in regattas. This pervasive lack of substance and giving-a-crap bleeds across all areas of the school.

I simply cannot understand why anyone would come here if they have a genuine interest in education. The Econ major is the toughest, but I learned jack, and couldn't believe how little my peers understood compared to me.

The only people who enjoy this place are people who drink and do drugs excessively (this comes from someone who dabbles in both), someone who goes there on a full-ride (who could complain about free?), or someone who badly wanted to play a sport but has no where else to go.

If you feel the need to compensate for something with a pricey diploma, and if you cannot get in elsewhere but you crave the prestige to acquire a Wall Street job, it might make sense to go here.

25% of people who graduate from here get good jobs (with help), but the rest kinda cling to mommy and dad's wallet for a few more years.

The career services department (located right in admissions so mommy and daddy payers can see) is a steaming pile of crap and it is a revolving door of people who themselves could not acquire solid employment. This school is a vacation home for spoiled drunks and that's about it.

All grades are puffed up, and no one seems to learn anything.

commentThis is yet another in a long line of extremely amusing negative reviews of "da Trin." Trashing the school online seems to be a great tradition that attracts the best minds at TC!
