Major: Chemical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
RPI is a tough school, but I did well academically. I really liked the environment and I fit in well. Though after graduating with my BS and PhD in chemical engineering, I was not offered a job. I interviewed with several employers within the first year of graduating, and was turned down by all of them. I continue to search for full-time employment (6 years now) while teaching part-time as adjunct without benefits. Save yourself the trouble and find a college that actually cares about its alumni.
