Major: Physics (This Major's Salary over time)
The program is specialized, hence do not enter if you want to go in the industry, it is a school turned toward theoretical subjects (astro, particles, relativity). You can easily take classes in other programs and even add a major/minor/honors whenever you want. The faculty offers services to help you with the assignments (help center, office hours); use them!Small classes (less than 10 students) and many opportunities to do some research during the summer. Two very distinct students type, you can party every single night, or be part of one of many more serious association. BU also has a cultural life of its own with concerts, publications and exhibits. Despite the smallness of the university, you can choose between many types of social groups. I was told their was some favoritism from teachers, yet I haven't seen it in the four department where I studied. The cafeteria is quite awesome, don't hesitate to ask for food that isn't of the menu (like crepes each morning), if they have it around, they'll give it to you. Dorms are either super great or absolutely disgusting. I guess it depends on the team that takes care of it. It is super easy to live in Lennoxville and walk to school and Sherbrooke is a ten minutes bus ride away. Some teacher are not English speaker, but it shouldn't be a discouraging factor.
