Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
For those who got depressed and stressed and overwhelmed coming here from high school. Just know that you would have been less stressed/depressed if you had the cash to take more summer classes that would have let you gotten a better GPA in high school because taking classes during the school year is like being punished for not taking summer classes/ procrastinating during the summer. Don't be naive and go take summer classes maybe one as a freshman. Summer classes are taught slower than what you get at Colby which is basically 22 days to finish a class vs 35 days during summer classes. The only disadvantage to taking summer classes is that you might take a class unrelated to your major that gives you credit but doesn't advance your education in the strictest possible sense. I really wish I had the money to take more summer classes-it's the only way to have any competitiveness here. The people who didn't take summer classes here are either really smart, went to the best prep school, or lie.
