From my 1 year of hell experienced here I would advise not coming here unless you are either super into basketball or a narcissist. From the first few weeks we were fined constantly for someone who wasn't even from the dorms trashing and vomiting in the mens room in the South hall dorms. As well as there being very little in variety for clubs. Theres either 50 shades of basketball (literally) or student senate. Which was ran by narcissitic people save one disabled guy who was very genuine and kind. The nightlife in nonexistent, even in downtown concord, and theres very little variety of engineering degrees between mechanical, electric, and computer engineering. with industrial and architecture stapled on the side. Some professors were really helpful and always available and often took time out of class to work 1 on 1 with me, but being told to go the the "mathlab" where I was ignored for 30 minutes by the two guys who were "on break" when I came to ask for help, just to help the first girl who walked in immediately. That doesn't sound like a helpful solution for help to me. As well as it was hard to make friends even from existing friends who attended the school and was often out of the loop as they are very cliquey as either narcisstic led peer groups who single you out as an exile or typical chad groups with strictly sports players who get the preferential treatment all over campus while I was labelled a creep for trying to say hello and ignored almost the entire time with loud roommates threatening to tell the RD to kick me out for asserting that they don't treatment poorly for no reason. The only conversation I had with the roommate was about if I had cleaned the fridge after I did a few weeks prior. Do not go here. Spend time elsewhere like River valley.
