Major: Automotive Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
In my late years of High School, I was having a hard time deciding what I wanted to pursue for a higher education. I always liked tinkering with cars, so I started to look into different automotive programs. Out of all of the programs around me, NEIT looked the most promising. I came to their admissions office and had a talk about the program, where they told me I would be working with professionals in a grade A working environment. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself to steer clear, because my experience has been the exact opposite of what they led me to believe it would be. The teaching staff (apart from a few good eggs) is full of arrogant, disrespectful, racist teachers who would rather watch you figure out problems on your own, then openly make fun of you with the other teaching staff for not knowing what to do. Asking for help is like an open invitation for the staff to ruin your life with insults and sarcasm. I should not have to feel this way every day. I came here to learn and better myself for the future, but unfortunately I feel like I am wasting way too much money for one of the worst experiences of my life. The level of unprofessionalism is almost unbelievable. I am upset to say I will be looking at other educational programs. I do not recommend New England Tech if you are looking for a professional, worth while educational program.
