My decision in attending Manhattanville was based on recruitment to play a sport. While visiting, the coaching staff and faculty were nothing but friendly and welcoming. They had portrayed a vision that Manhattanville was the place to be that would give plenty of opportunities to be successful.. They followed up with nothing once I had attended. Professors were nothing but pompous and arrogant. No help was given when asked for and their communication was absolutely HORRENDOUS. Faculty members were so-so. for every 5 faculty member, I would say every 1/5 was welcoming and helpful. I started Manhattanville living on campus in those run-down concrete cells they call "dorms" lucky enough I lived close by and began commuting. With terrible parking, it was nearly impossible to find a parking spot every day and when I did it was a 15-minute walk to class. The professors at Manhattanville were the worst of all. All lack terrible communication skills which is essential to a valuable college education, taking them days to respond to emails or sometimes not even responding at all. Professors keep you out of the loop on your own grades until the end of the semester when it is to late to assignments or get help. If I had to rate Manhattanville on a professional scale I would give them a D-. If you are looking to throw away $40,000 a year, Manhattanville college is the place to do so. If you are looking to get a valuable education and gain knowledge to prepare you for life, STEER AWAY from this "college"
