I had some wonderful, and very caring teachers at Transy. I made some lifelong friends there. I was treated well by the administration and staff. The scholarship and financial aid offices were always helpful also. I have no complaints on that end. While my own academic experiences were good, I look back and realize that Transylvania was not worth the money, was not diverse enough, and really did not prepare me for the "real world". It was…expensive, fun at times, way to focused on Greek life, and far too insular. I hold no ill will towards my school, but, I when asked, and I have been, I don't lie and say its a good choice. Unless you have a ton of your parents cash, and just fall head over heals in love with the place when you visit (do so twice), I would recommend you look elsewhere for your education.
