MUM helped me to know myself and the world in a way that no other place could. I will be forever grateful for the amount of growth I experienced here and for all the amazing people I met along the way. Academically, it may not always be as rigorous or have the same traditional structure as most other schools, but it fostered amazing personal growth in me and this has helped lay the foundation for the rest of my life. By emphasizing the learner and her/his personal development over the subjects being learned, MUM inspired me and challenged me in innumerable ways. I know everything I learned during my time there will continue to guide me as I move through my career and eventual graduate studies.
