Date: Mar 12 2018 Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time) I had a great experience at Carroll. The nursing department and program is rigorous and if you aren't prepared to work hard for your education, look elsewhere. Carroll is not a school for students that only care about getting drunk every night of the week. It is relatively quiet liberal arts school. Looking back, I feel I got a superior education at this school. The amount of tuition scholarships given to students makes coming here a very good value. You are essentially getting a private school education at a UW-Madison cost. For a learner like me, I knew I wouldn't do well with large classes, and it was the right place to be. I made life long friends here; friends that have become more like family. I remain in contact with many of my old faculty and their connections have benefited me numerous times. I was able to have a great social life in addition to being a busy nursing student; it just takes time. My one word of advice would be to bring a car if you plan on living on campus. It will help you to feel less isolated; and you can get to nearby Milwaukee much easier. No regrets.
