SBU is certainly not for everyone. It is a small, Christian university in a small town. If you're not a Christian and not willing to put forth some effort to be a part of campus life and enjoy yourself-you will hate the school. But if you are a Christian, if you make an effort to get to know the people around you, you will love this school. The people at SBU are top quality and super friendly, and the profs treat you well usually. Being a small school there are a lot of things students can complain about (food, facilities, social life, etc.) but at the end of the day I think there is more positive at SBU than negative. You get out what you put in.
