The campus is unbelievably disorganized. I wasn't signed up for crucial programs and resources. I was neglected when it came to sending crucial emails but they had time to send me useless and meaningless ones. I did not find out until the day of (and in some cases after) events, including ones considered high priority. Despite all the rhetoric about inclusiveness and outreach I've never felt more isolated from my peers or outright ignored by campus administration. Most events are coordinated by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, which is exactly what it sounds like virtue signaling with no substance, and the Women's and Gender center. There's a heavy political atmosphere and IDPOL is integrated. Despite the heavy insistence on respecting all perspectives points made in the discussion based classes will not only be dismissed off hand they can, in some of my experiences, be out right ridiculed (sometimes even from instructors!). All offices and services open late and close early (4:30pm except the dining hall which is open pretty late 8 or 11 pm depending on the day).
